Terms of Service for Peppa

Welcome to Peppa! These Terms of Use ("Terms") explain the rules for using our service provided by Sociarch HK Limited ("Peppa," "we," "us," or "our"). By signing up, you agree to these Terms. They include important details, including liability limits and a binding arbitration agreement.
Our Service
Peppa provides personal assistant services via WhatsApp (9 AM - 5 PM, Mon-Fri, HK time).
Trial Terms
- What You Get: 4 weeks for HKD $1,988, including unlimited tasks (during hours) and a human team.
- Limitations: Limited spots; service hours apply; no auto-renewal.
- Cancellation & Refunds: Cancel anytime for a pro-rata refund based on remaining weekdays.
Example: If you cancel after using 10 weekdays of a 20-weekday trial, you'll get a 50% refund.
Special Benefits for Trial Users (Founding Members)
As one of our first families, you'll receive special benefits if you continue after your trial:
- The Graduated Benefit Program:
- First 6 months: Enjoy our special Founding Member rate.
- Next 12 months: Receive a 10% discount.
- Ongoing benefits: 60-day notice of changes (vs. 30 days).
- Service stability: Keep your current service level even if we introduce tiers.
- Your Founding Member Promise: If we change our structure, you can maintain your original service level.
Using Peppa Responsibly
- You Must Be 18+.
- Acceptable Use: Use Peppa for lawful, family-admin tasks. Do not ask assistants for illegal/immoral tasks, harassment, false info, or to abuse them. Example: Asking to "research schools" is great. Asking to "create fake documents" is not and means termination.
- Your Responsibilities: Provide accurate info, respond promptly, treat our team respectfully, keep WhatsApp secure.
How Our Service Works
- WhatsApp Dependency: Our service relies on WhatsApp. Their terms apply. We aren't responsible for their outages or practices. Example: If WhatsApp goes down, we can't operate.
- Communication Protocols: We respond during service hours. Complex tasks take time. We'll update you. Example: A request at 4:45 PM might get a full response the next day.
- Human Assistant Service Model: A team handles your account for continuity. They are professionals.
Third-Party Services and Limitations
- When We Book for You: We act as your messenger. We aren't responsible for the third party's quality, availability, or policies. Example: If a restaurant meal is bad, it's between you and them. If we book the wrong date, we'll fix our error.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability (Hybrid)
While we work hard, there are limits.
- Plain Language: We do our best, but we can't guarantee 100% accuracy or that third parties (like restaurants or plumbers) will be perfect. We're a support service, not a miracle worker. Example: If we book Disneyland and it's sold out, we'll tell you and suggest alternatives, but we aren't liable for your disappointment or travel costs.
- Disclaimer of Warranties (Legal): THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
- Limitation of Liability (Legal): TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOCIARCH HK LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE HK $1988 PAID BY YOU FOR THE TRIAL SERVICE.
Indemnifications
You agree to cover any costs Peppa incurs if your actions (violating Terms, illegal requests, etc.) cause us legal trouble or losses.
Termination
- By You: Cancel anytime (see refunds).
- By Peppa: We can suspend/terminate you for violating Terms, illegal/abusive acts, or other reasons. Termination may be immediate and without refund for severe cases.
Force Majeure
We aren't liable for failures due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, platform outages like WhatsApp, pandemics, etc.).
Intellectual Property
Peppa's brand is ours. Your info is yours. Feedback you give us is ours to use.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy (above) is part of these Terms.
Resolving Disputes
- Talk to Us First: We want to resolve issues amicably. Please contact peppa@peppa.app first. We'll try to fix things within 30 days. Example: If you're unhappy, email us. We'll work to make it right.
- Arbitration Agreement: If we can't resolve it informally, we both agree to binding arbitration in Hong Kong under HKIAC rules, instead of going to court.
- Class Action Waiver: We both agree to bring claims only individually, not as part of a class action.
- Governing Law: Hong Kong law applies.
General Terms
- Entire Agreement: These Terms & the Privacy Policy are the whole deal.
- Changes: We'll notify you of significant changes.
- Severability: If one part is invalid, the rest stands.
- No Waiver: Delaying enforcement doesn't waive rights.
- Assignment: You can't transfer your account.
